Cooking With Chronic Pain: Fried Pork Chops

I came up with this recipe last minute and it turned out really good. Pairs well with anything, but I made it with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli.


- 1lb of pork chops or pork tenderloin cut into slices

- Onion Powder

- Garlic Powder

- Ground Black Pepper

- Rosemary

- Paprika

- 3 cups Flour

- 4 tbsp Olive Oil


1. In a medium sized pan, heat the olive oil on low-medium heat.

2. Meanwhile, in a large sized bowl combine ingredients and mix until well blended.

3. Add in pork and coat evenly. Once the oil is headed, add the pork and fry until the pork is cooked thoroughly.

4. Remove pork and serve hot
