Cooking With Chronic Pain: Crock Pot (Slow Cooker) Taco Soup

**Not my recipe and I only cook for 2 right now so I shortened some ingredients a bit. I'm also not a huge onion fan so I cut mine really small**


- 2lbs Ground Beef (I use ground turkey because it's healthier)

- 2 Cups of Diced Onions

- 2 15.5oz Cans of Pinto Beans (Drained)

- 1 15.5oz Can of Pink Kidney Beans (Drained)

- 1 15.5oz Can of Whole Kernel Corn (Drained)

- 1 Can of Mexican-Style Stewed Tomatoes

- 1 Can of Diced Tomatoes

-1 Can of Tomatoes with Chilies

- 2 Cans of Diced Green Chilies

- 1 package of Taco Seasoning (I use the homemade recipe that can be found on this blog)

- Corn Chips, Grated Cheese, Sour Cream and whatever else you want for Garnish


1. Brown the ground beef in one pan and the onions in another.

2. Drain the fat and add meat and onions to the crock pot.

3. Add in the remaining ingredients and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours.

4. Add desired garnishes and serve.
